Putty

We’re going to assume that you already have the Roku in dev mode (since you had to install builds previous to this).

Download and install Putty on your PC from https://www.putty.org/.

Open the Putty application.


connecting Your roku To Putty

With the Roku and PC on the same network, enter your Roku’s IP in the host name (or IP address) field.

Select “Telnet” for connection type.

Enter 8085 in the Port field.


Putty logs

To make sure the logs save, click on Logging in the left hand menu.

Select “All session output” under Session Logging.

Click Browse and choose a folder that you want to save the logs in.

Edit the name of the file.

Now click Open and launch the app.
