VIDAA Devkit App

For HiSense, we need to install the VIDAA DevKit App before we can install our test apps. Then we can install 2 ways: using the VIDAA DevKit app directly on the TV or using the web browser on your PC.

Make sure your HiSense TV is connected to your WiFi.

Open the VIDAA Store App, navigate and put the focus on the search icon.

Press '27753790' on the remote, it will indicate that VIDAA DevKit App is successfully installed.

Launch the Devkit App and note of the MAC Address and Device Code on the homepage of the Devkit App.

Send the MAC Address and Device Code to your point of contact for HiSense testing.

Once you have been given a secure key file, put it under the root directory of a USB stick, and insert the USB stick into the USB socket on the TV, then verify.

TV App manager

Open the VIDAA DevKit app and select App Manager.

In the App URL field, enter the URL of the test app.

In App Name field, create a name for your app.

You can leave the Icon URL field blank.

Set Resolution dropdown to 1080P.

Select the Install button.

Now we can launch our test app on the TV.

PC App MANAGER

Open the VIDAA DevKit app on the TV and select App Manager.

Select the PC Install button from the App Manager page.

You will be taken to a screen with a code to connect to your PC.

On your PC, go to https://partner-doc.vidaa.com/vdocs/more/devkitweb.html

Connect your PC to the TV by entering code from the TV. Then repeat the same steps as before:

  1. In App URL field, enter the URL of the test app.

  2. In App Name field, create a name for your app.

  3. You can leave the Icon URL field blank.

  4. Set Resolution dropdown to 1080P.

  5. Select the Install button.
